What Successful People Do to Create Desired Results, and Stay on Top?
SUMMARY
So, What do you do Julie, to stay so consistent and produce results?
I was asked by a friend. Now instead of giving her a short answer that would leave her unsatisfied, I decided to create a whole article on What Successful People do to stay ahead of the crowd and get desired results.
First, please celebrate with me, Because I am ALIVE. I faced C19 in the face and she was Nasty, yet Source in His mercy saw fit to Save Me. I am So Grateful.
One of the things I reflected on while I was down, was, what if I did not schedule my content? Would my Business have survived?
Bringing me to the first tip. Do things with INTENTION, form the habit of Scheduling your days. At least you can change your schedule, rather than drifting through days. Get yourself a Planner so you can live your life with Intention
During the downtime as I repair, I also Completed a Course I have had on and off since October. I am celebrating that too.
Successful people are Finishers. What do you have on Ice, on and off, or putting off until? Go get it done TODAY. You see’ Self Mastery is the Key.

I am a humble stay at home mom, who happens to have started blogging 7 years ago and stayed the course. In the beginning, I was all over the place, blogging about anything.
Then I found my niche in Pinterest and Digital Marketing.
And at the end of 2019 we decided to expand our Brand to Social Media Management… Trust me we are not veering from the niche, we are simply digging in.
You might ask me, how about the current situation? I answered this question last week, you might like to pop over to the post and maybe even find a nugget or 10. 😉
Also, you must have a plan and Work it. Unless it is in total contrast to your environment.

Successful people do study the environment and Create a Strategy to mitigate or leverage that environment. You must be wondering though; what do successful people actually do? They…
Set Goals, Measure, and Track, Here is Why!
If you had the task of filling a 1000 litre barrel with water in 24 hours. What would you do?
Would you just get started with a small pan to fill it or would you research on the best, fastest, most efficient strategy to fill that barrel?
Would You find out how far is the nearest source of water to the barrel? Can you automate the delivery or you have to do it manually?
If the latter, can you get some more people to help or you pay them to do the filling for you. IF it is Profitable in the end!
Then get resources in place to get the job done as fast as possible within the 24 hours or even earlier.
There is always a catch, right? Well, as you begin to fill the barrel with water, after a while you notice that the barrel wasn’t actually filling up, what would you do? ???
Would you keep putting water in it? NO, you would check it out top to bottom… And
After checking it out, you may find that there’s a hole in the barrel…?
You may discover that you need a new barrel!? Or maybe you can have the hole fixed and get filling the dang barrel… you now have 16 hours left…
Well, you will only know if
- you had a strategy in the first place.
- You kept an eye on the job, tracked the progress, and thus Notice that it isn’t filling up… of course, you would notice more water around the barrel too thus a leak… ?
Most marketers approx. 80% are trying to fill their own barrels but aren’t checking to see if the barrel is filling up.
They just keep mindlessly putting water in day in and day out! ?
Some are not even bothering to fill the barrel at all…they hope it will miraculously fill itself with water… I.e. No Traffic, No Prospects, No leads, No sales…
The barrel is your Business.

What Successful People Do to Get results.
Whether it’s posting ads, status updates, lead magnets, or anything else, you have to track and measure your progress.
- What are you trying to accomplish? ?
- How’s what you’re doing working? ?
- Is it working? ?
- How do you know if you didn’t set targets/goals action steps and track them to see if your barrel is filling!
- What are your next steps? ?
If you’ve been working on something for a while and aren’t seeing results, it may be time to tweak it, modify it, or try something else.
Always give yourself enough time to observe… Don’t abandon your efforts after just a couple of months or so!??
Most viable and successful businesses take at least 2 years to bear consistent fruit = profit and a Life-changing income!
This can apply to your personal life as well as business.
There is always going to be someone more experienced, better, smarter, prettier than you and that’s OK because you are you.
“Confidence comes from doing. The more you do the better you’ll feel”.
I also listen to podcasts to help with mindset. ?

And THAT is what successful people do. Sounds too simple, doesn’t it? Well, it is, nobody said it is easy though! UNLESS You make it so.
