What are the Top 3 Questions Your Prospects need Answered? What Must your Audience be convinced of to Buy from you?
Do you know the top 3 questions your prospects need answered, in order to consider your products, service, business opportunity?
This is a major stumbling block for most marketers and new business owners esp. in the digital space.
And when it comes to the online space or off line prospecting, there are 6 questions top most in their minds.
Today’s training is inspired by Rumi’s advice: It goes something like this:
if you wish to Attract Love, first find out all the things in your life that repel love and get rid of them, and Love will find you with such ease…
first find out all the things in your life that repel love and get rid of them
Now over the years, the above words have rung true for me.
I’ve found that in order to attract people you:
• first make sure that you do not repel people and
• secondly you show that you are attractive.
Ask Yourself: What could be repelling others in my Marketing message, Social media Presence, posts, videos etc? I ask myself this Question often, keeping in mind Social Algorithm changes …I want to stay sane right? ?

Some things that could be putting people off or NOT ATTRACTING them.
– Trying to sell your products or business in every post, in every conversation and in every encounter.
– Being very political in your posts, so much that your promo posts fall on deaf ears.
– Overly hypey sales messages – Money posts, income posts, promises of riches in 2 mins, promises of results in ridiculously short times etc.
– Being mean and nasty to others in your posts and expecting others to actually trust you.
– Never sharing what you offer or your skills and so people don’t know that you have something they need. then splashing it in their faces no qualifying or determining need.
– Sending links to people without having a convo and qualifying them.
– Bombarding people with promotional material in their messenger or WhatsApp…without ever trying to hold a conversation.
What could be repelling others in your Marketing message?
What could be attractive?
- A phone call or voice call of some sort: WhatsApp, Messenger, Zoom etc.
- That you provide value on the thing that you are good at (maybe related to your product or business). That you know what you are talking about. That have good manners (online and offline) and showing that you are a good and normal person. That you are a professional.
- Stay in touch genuinely and build relationships. You can use e-Cards, Voice notes, emojis, Gifs, Memes.
- Qualifying people. Watch the video below how to do this.
In this episode, I share 3 of those questions and the other 3 are shared in a resource that has more than 10K in pure value inside of my Exclusive Mastermind.

Thanks Julie and team, I will revisit, as I definitely need to learn more here.
Thank you for sharing your links with us at #276 SSPS Linky. See you again next week.
This is such great information. I definitely don’t like getting spammed.
Nodody likes getting spammed Lasonia. So we are glad to share 😉
I never thought of it that way. I’ve always made sure to observe what the customers want. Those are some great tips and even if they look simple, it actually the most effective.
Yes Lynna,
We humans love to complicate things so we can look extra smart. The Simpler, the smarter in my view 😉
That is true. I have unfollowed so many blogs because they would sell something or the other in every post. This is a great post 🙂
Selling is okay after all Shop owners sell you stuff all day long,. They just arent in your face about it 🙂
But I know what you mean Sushmita
Putting yourself in the position of the customer is ideal because you’ll be able to recognize what would bring actual value to them and make them want to work with you. I’ll need to think about these questions when I create my own services. Thanks!
Yes indeed Jasmine and good luck on creating those services 🙂
I always try to put myself in the shoes of the prospective customer. I do not want to annoy them with relentless phone calls, email, or messaging on social media. What I do is I give them my “pitch of a lifetime” and follow up witn ONE email or ONE phone call. If they are not interested, then I would respect that.
Hi AnneMarie, did you know that most peope buy on the 5-8th follow up?
One phone call or email means you leave over 67% of your potential customers in the Decision making process!
Keep them informed, keep em keen Follow up More.
Julie
Those were a really great lists of questions where I know we can learn a lot from everyone’s answers.
Glad you got Value Mudpies 🙂
To be honest, I am not really good in marketing or in selling and I’ve learned a lot from this article one is I need to set myself as a customer so that I will be able to deliver or explain it properly
Glad you got value Catherine. Holler if you need any help!
Sometimes we’re our own worst enemy and we don’t even realize it in ourselves. Thanks for sharing this information. Great advice.
You are welcome Heather, Glad you get the picture 🙂
I place myself on the customer spot and ask what I would like to see, to feel, thus to buy. Just trying to predict what my potential customer would like this experience to be.
A great way to ATTRACT Customers for sure 😀
Awesome questions to consider! It’s important to focus on what we love and how that can be shared with others.
That is what we mean Norma 🙂
These are great points to remember. Of course, we want to have a sustainable business, but it’s important that we remember the customer experience. To always be of service and provide value.
Exactly Annita
Glad you got value 🙂
This was such a great resource, thank you for sharing! It’s definitely helping me with my own business.
The point about the things that repel an audience being as important as those things that they find attractive is one I had not considered before. I will do an audit of my blog to determine this. Thanks!.
Great post, the best way to sell anything is to provide a solution to people’s problems. Customer care and everything else is a bonus. If people can identify with your business, they are more likely to be loyal customers.
Love the perspective of approaching a problem by discarding the negative. Will definitely attempt this!
You are most welcome Adi 🙂
I’m enlightened especially on the things that put people off. I love the point on not selling on every single post. As much as we want to make money as bloggers,, we should really have this point in mind because that surely turns people off when we try so hard.
These are very helpful. Some of these are rather basic but we often take them for granted. Thanks for the reminder.
Its the Basic foundation stones, no bling, no accessories that keep the house standing!
Most people dont know what those are so someone needs to share 🙂
JulieSyl
There is nothing worse than people trying to get my to buy things or spam me with sales messages over and over again. It’s so annoying and I would never buy from them. There a “trend” going on at the moment on sending friend requests on facebook and as soon as someone accepts, it gets bombarded with sales links. That’s hurting your business, not generating trust and sales.
Hi Joanna,
Its all about knowing how you wish to be treated and doing by others that way. Serving is a learnt art 🙂
Once we answer other people’s questions, they are willing to listen. And that takes asking the right questions 🙂
JulieSyl
Great information and I think everyone in marketing should read this. I guess the golden rule is that if you won’t like it to get it, then don’t send it. If you don’t want to read spams about others, then don’t send spams to others.
Sure thing for sure do unto others what you would like done unto you, is a great mantra to live by 🙂
