The 5 Exact Steps I Took to Make 5 Figures & to Safeguard My Business/Career.
So you want to Safeguard your Business? How do you do that in a global pandemic situation with unprecedented economic challenges?
I know that right now things might be or are pretty rough, and for many getting even tougher:
? For many even daily food is a problem
? Maybe you’ve had to ‘Shut down your Business” completely…
? Money can and might be hard to access, things are tight…
? Are your clients also canceling!…
I cannot tell you HOW TO feel, yet I do know that we’re all dealing with huge uncertainty, UNLESS WE Create Our Own Certainty.
And I for one I am so very grateful to be able to serve others still, I have been given a 2nd chance after I survived COVID-19. ? And I promise to Do even more for YOU. ?
You see, I truly believe that we EACH have the ability to Face the Problem, speak to the situation. Make the best of the hand we have been dealt.
On reflection, there are SPECIFIC THINGS I’ve done over the last 7 years that turned scary situations into wins and where I am today.

And so, today I would love to spread the LOVE and walk you through the exact steps I’ve taken to safeguard my business, and how you can implement them fast to support your career/business through this crisis.
1. Acceptance –
But not wallowing in self-pity. Rather ACT LIKE What you wish to Keep. Do you want to keep your Job? Act like it already.
You want your business to thrive? Stop the pity party and Act like A Successful, Thriving Business owner.
Be positive, optimistic, confident, and fun to be around. Research shows that being a fun person to be around, really matters.
It is said that Survivors of the Auschwitz Concentration Camps mostly made it through by imagining a future for themselves.
The power of focusing on what you wish to see like its already here is something I learned from Jose Silva the Mind Method from his book Sales Power.
2. Skills Audit –
Where are you vulnerable within your Skills and Organization? It’s those areas you have neglected or simply didn’t polish up on in your spare time during the good times. But its never too late.
Where are you vulnerable within your Skills and Organization?
3. Adapt – Stay focused on your customer.
No customers = No Business or even Job tomorrow. Anticipating their needs, must be your top priority if you wish to safeguard your business.
Prove your value to them and your organization by showing your relevance in your role.
This means you should adapt your current skills or up-level them to stay relevant And More Important let the bosses know they could not perform the job without your skills and specific help.
For Business Owners, DO NOT CUT BACK on marketing. That is the mistake most Businesses are making in a bid to cut costs. But if your customers don’t see/hear you, they Will go to your competition.
So, adapt your marketing, find creative ways to promote your brand, it may mean investing in a strategy or Staff training so they can do more. That investment will pay back 100-fold.
4. Pivot – to Safeguard your Business
This is when as a business owner, decides in a Change of Direction. You make a fundamental change to your business model or structure after determining that your service or product isn’t meeting yours or target market needs.
Call it a course correction and this can happen in good or bad times. If at this point in your business/career you find your skills less in demand or product/services less in demand, it is Time to PIVOT.
5. Success Loves Speed – Take Action NOW, Today.
Because the longer you wait for some kind of sign, the higher the chances your career is exposed to the downturn.
Just remember: the more you prepare, the less you need to. BUT, this doesn’t mean procrastinate.
In fact, making decisions without thought is a recipe for disaster, so before you decide to take your career/business in a new direction, take the time to plan.

1. Pick new goals that align with your vision
2. Find out what works and keep that, in fact, scale-up.
3. Ensure your pivot presents opportunities for growth and Profit
4. DO IT FAST… Today is the day you should get started.
