Selling And Marketing – How to Get People to Buy into Your Vision and Offers
Are you this person, doing this thing? I see so many people running around confused on social media “playing at entrepreneur”. They are Desperate to sell their stuff, BUT are they willing to pull their finger out, INVEST in the necessary skills and SERVE others?
Usually the answer is NOT Really. See, like I used to be, most are focused on the Dollar not the service…(Remember that song? Dollar dollar dollar…tralalaalaa)
Anyhoo, I feel for you my friend. See, I used to be there. All I cared about was the money and so I went about talking about the business, the product, the content, the creators…how we were gonna get rich like yesterday! Never once thinking about the person I was telling these things.
- What was in it for them?
- And, what was the benefit for them,
- What problem was trying to solve?
- Were these people ready for the solution?
- Was I talking their language?
So, what did I discover that changed my business trajectory. what you too should be doing to serve more people?
Instead of giving you the direct answer, let me ask you:
Okay you are a marketer or business owner, blogger; What are the 2 things you MUST focus on Daily for your business to grow?
I know some will and I too always say Self Development…thats important too.
Yet that’s not the topic for today.
Today I am talking about the 2 things most get wrong, dont do enough of or just do the wrong things:

In today’s training episode, We are gonna talk about these two beautiful words and how they affect your business or brand.

So in order to get your selling and marketing right, I always say Reverse Engineer your process… Understand that Marketing is NOT merely selling.

You must ensure that you have a System or Process that works for you and TRUST THAT PROCESS. By ensuring that those who have created success ahead of you, have used a similar or that same process…
So Here is what you could do, if you are truly determined to get your results flowing continuously:

- Create your Sales message First
- If you have a Funnel Create the Draft of Your Sales Funnel
- Create your Promotional Material – rough cuts and then
- CREATE the Offer/Product/Service
Sales are Key my friend, what’s the use of creating something or finding a great product for sale and you cannot shift it? Because Your Sales Message is lacking…its NOT touching the people you intended it for. WHY?
Because you have no clue what they want. Or where they hang out, their trigger points.

I learned to be very keen to spot some gimicky keywords in any marketing events. The less I read and see it, the more i get curious.
By Gimmicky keywords what do you mean Blair, any examples? 🙂
People actually follow visions and values when they commit to them, see them turned into followable guiding principles, practice them consistently and have them reinforced. We’ve become so used to people’s actions having so little in common with organizations’ stated values that it’s hardly even noteworthy when that happens.

So true my friend. For me, I have switched from focusing on the money to focus on my passion. I figure if you do what you love the money will come. That said, you still have to do the work.
The focus word here is WORK if you add the word INSPIRED before the Work you will be on a roll John. trust me not all passions are monetizable 😀

Her sales went down drastically or as a normal sales Cycle Elena? Nobody sells all year round at High Volume. Some months go down some rise but drastic drops or spikes must be investigated to either scale up or check cause of drop and fix.

It is so true that too many people are far too pushy about selling without investing time in completely understanding their potential customers first. There is no short cut to success and having a system that caters to the interests of your customers first will always put you out in front of the competition.

This is such good information. People should really look into this more. It seems like everyone is so pushy without really knowing what they are doing.
I see so many people trying to sell their products on social media, flooding their friend’s feeds with “buy, buy, buy”. Or people who send messages on LinkedIn every second day. It’s so annoying. There are so few people who actually know how to smart sell their products online.
