Well unless its a meme, dang funny video or a tear jerker, chances are your FB Live video disappears down a dark hole unless you do something with it. In today’s episode I am going to share with you 7 Ways to repurpose your Facebook Live for even more traffic, subscribers and results in your business, ministry, charity, blog  etc.

7 Ways to Repurpose Your Facebook Live, Create Authority in your Niche and Make more Bank!

First, let me guess, it’s been a couple of years since you learnt about facebook live video, you jumped in with both feet or just started tentatively, on and off recently.

You have no clue what you really are gaining with this FB Live trend for your blog posts, webinars and products! You’ve learnt a lot, but you haven’t made any returns on the investments you’ve put in. You’re online business feels more like an online hobby despite all the time and money you’ve poured into it. Perhaps that job isn’t looking so bad after all… At least you get weekends off, PAID holidays, sick leave and other benefits. You watch your friends go out clubbing, parties, movies etc., and you are glued to your PC weekends and evenings  trying to build that list, biz and make some income… Does it feel like this ‘Facebook Live Video’ thing is an exclusive club that you’re never going to get membership to – but you keep applying anyway? 7 ways to Repurpose your Facebook Live & Increase Brand Authority!

 

#1. To repurpose your Facebook Live Video you gotta Download It.  Very important,  you now own your IP. Until you do this, Facebook owns your video and can delete, use it or even block you from accessing it…

Haven’t you had an experience where your video disappears from your Newsfeed and you find a notification from FB that it contravenes some convoluted FB law or you used Copyrighted music…I rest my case.

So immediately I am done with a live broadcast, we get to work immediately downloading it. Nothing else matter before this…(Well apart from family and life lol).

Don’t leave it to chance, you dont own Facebook. Download to your Cloud space or an external drive…I will be talking about these in the resources Section Below! 

To download your Video: go to Your Personal Profile or Page depending on where you did the Livestream. Click on the video like you are going to watch the replay. Three little dots appear on the right side. Click on them and click Download SD on the drop down menu

If done in Profile, click on “More” on your profile. A drop down menu appears, Click on Videos and Go to “Your Videos.” Click on the “Pencil sign” on any video you wish to download. Save your video to cloud space or external drive to reduce on resources on your PC. Job done. 

If you did your Live Stream on your Page, Simply click on Videos on the Side Navigation panel of your page, Find the video you wish to download. Follow instructions to download above. 

 

#2. Transcribe your Live – we use temi.com and it costs $0.10 pence/minute. Thus a 30 min broadcast will cost £3. Many people recommend Rev.com because they have no clue that Temi exists. Rev costs $1/minute so a 30 minute video will cost you $30. See the massive saving…You are not in the business of Multiple streams of spending, so leverage temi… Plus you have better things to do with your time so dont spend hours trying to transcribe it yourself. #Youarewelcome 

Now you have your video in written format. You should of course edit this transcript, lots of little typos you will find.

If you are a blogger you have your blog post draft, add some imagery and you are good to go…So simple!

#3. Now you have a free PDF from the transcript. You can give it away along with a Video as a FREE offer to build your e-mail List! Or polish it up, add more info and price it up for say $7-10 tops!

You will be surprised how many people actually pick this offer up, money is money…This is a free tip on how to monetize your content as well!

Having added links to the video transcript pointing people to your other online asses e.g., your FB Page, Group, Website/blog, YouTube Channel, Paid Product etc. Upload the PDF to Slideshare.com. Traffic baby!

And you just started a PBN =Private Blog Network or Backlinks for your blog/website.

Now go ahead and upload your Transcript along with the Video to Ibotoolbox. This is a Free network of entrepreneurs and marketers where you can get a lot more traffic to your offers and website! The more eyeballs to your offers, the more sales you will make…Not everyone is sat twiddling their thumbs on Facebook babes! 

You can also upload your video to IboTube  My secret to More YouTube views months After I uploaded my video! Shh dont tell everybody! 😉

Finally, you can use that transcript to Add Captions to your Video – doesn’t always work in personal profile or even page! But hey, captions hypnotize and captivate your audience. Best for shorter videos under 10 minutes, so go for it. 

 

#4. You can repurpose your Facebook live into a Podcast – you need editing software for this.

I know funds are tight, so try Audacity for FREE. For podcasting, you can start on a Free Podcast Account with either Speaker or Soundcloud which costs only $79/year.

By the way Follow me on Soundcloud, you will get some truly unique audios to help you reboot your mindset, and build success in your business. You can turn your commute to and from work into a Mobile University!

 

 

#5. Upload your Downloaded Video to YouTube

Now you just increased your brand exposure to another demographic. And guess what, now your facebook Live video content is accessible in search. Go ahead and….

You add your earlier Slideshare and blog links as resources inside your YT video Description. Here is why you want to do this:

• You are expanding your PBN – google it mate.
• Your content is increasing in SEO and Rank in search…yes please.
• Increasing your Little Facebook Live reach and Your Brand Exposure.
• You are becoming Omnipresent – And ensuring you are managing your Online Brand Reputation.

#6. Create a Fab Graphic with and Pin It.

We use Canva.com to create fab professional looking graphics and Pin our Videos. Do it with different links to your above real estate! I give Pinterest more emphasis because you will get way more traffic to your video from this platform, way long after all other platforms have stopped even caring about your wee Facebook live.

Post it to Instagram and point to whichever above posts you choose. Of-course Tweet it and Google+ it…

 

 

#7. Submit it to Bookmarking sites like Ezine Articles – Make sure it’s different from your blog article …We don’t want you google slapped for duplicate content, do we?

So, use a Free article spinner off google to do that…#YouAreWelcome ?
