Quit Serving your Ego – New Business Success Tips!

?Action, execution, implementation are the only ways you get to see you grow and God gets to bless you as a worker in His vineyard. So today we’d like to talk about your New Business Success.

For that to happen, you have to Quit your pity party, quit serving your ego, doubts and fears. Its Your time, but you gotta grab it and do something with it. 

Today allow me to take you on a wee journey. I had a friend call saying she was too busy doing…(Fill in the blank) and couldn’t follow the training she desperately needs to build her business. Which happens to be a Network Marketing type business. 

She also implied she was overwhelmed by all the stuff she has to do and can’t keep up. 

So excuse today’s share if it comes across as harsh medicine. See, when I was growing up I had to take the most bitter natural quinine concoction if I ever got malaria. So tough love is sometimes what we need. 

Nobody starts anything with 100% Knowledge. That’s why we learn, fall, get up, brush up and learn a lesson or get angry and start the blame game.

Instead today we’ll talk the plan…

 

 

New Business Success – Most People Start with Zero

Today allow me to share what I wish I knew about starting and growing a business, that nobody told me. ?

Most of you know by now, I was stuck at home with no job and desperately needed a change.  I learnt to throw the biggest  pity parties with a buffet of See food eat it…

??‍♀️ Mind you, I wasn’t counting being a mom/wife, food prep, cleaning home to within an inch of itself, gardening weekly, keeping the grass super short… School Pick ups and drop off to extra Curricular activities on a daily… and the Taxi of mom! 

We moms seem to never appreciate that side of our lives…

All I could think of was: I desperately needed a change, I needed a JOB as weeks turned to months and years….

I now know GOD had other plans for me…For over 24 months I got NO after NO from Job application after another… My soul was slowly dying inside…??

??‍♀️What I didn’t realise was the preparation for the tens of thousands of NO’s I would get when I became a Direct selling rep in a Network Marketing company. And today as a Business Transformational Coach. How all those No’s strengthened me for building a global brand!

When my Sister-in-Law sent me a link to check out a company which I later learnt was an MLM link, I did what I was asked and…

I figured what did I have to lose, I signed myself up. After all all I had to do was get two people, who would also get 2,…etc etc. and we would all be super rich, make a ton of money. I thought way, I can do this…Super easy, right?

Ha!

For me it was easy…for others it seemed to be a mountain they could not and most would not even try to climb!

Yet, I build a team of over 250 people and made 5 figures in our first 6 weeks.

I was daily, reaching out to people, excited, sharing, doing the WORK. I was attending every event, training, webinar, Skype call and soaking up every lesson I could.

ABOVE ALL I WAS EXECUTING said lessons…Then the company disappeared. Long story short!

What I learnt along the way was that there are Some Common denominators, call them steps to success.

1️⃣   Building a business, Network Marketing or any other takes WORK. There is no getting round that. Work involves patience, persistence, focus on what matters, and surprisingly sometimes ignorance.

See I got lots of people telling me I was peddling pyramid stuff…My ignorance of their meaning of that word meant kept me focused on the Action…Until I allowed it to sink in and boom I froze. 

 

2️⃣   Creating success in any business on or offline esp. Network Marketing requires you to develop your mindset, communication and marketing skills. DAILY professional development is A MUST and the more successful, the more you must Learn! 

 

3️⃣   As a newbie, brand yourself NOT your company, or service. The world doesn’t know or trust you so posting about your company means they will never get to know you or your value. They will instead visit Dr. Google and read the not so good reviews without speaking to you first. 

You will never hear from 99.9% after that!  

Branding you means you lead with your experience, story, value so people see that first as you recommend the solution that got you from A to B.

4️⃣   NOT everyone is your prospect. Marketing to everyone is marketing to nobody and leads to frustration and quitting! Determine your target market. Where do they hang out? What are their pain points? How does your product or service solve a problem.

For my private mastermind members, we deep dive into how to find your target audience and market.

And then we create a Custom Avatar, which leads you to finding and attracting your ideal client like clockwork.

 

5️⃣   Marketing skills needed to be learned. People are repelled by the sale ads. People want to buy but they don’t want to be sold to. Do you? 

So, learn how to Tell Your Story. People are waiting to hear your experience and see themselves in you. That’s how they will Join your team or BUY your stuff. 

 

6️⃣   Learn about ATTRACTION MARKETING. Lead with value first i.e. Facebook Live videos, blog, training, share something of VALUE that your ideal customer or client would be interested in.

7️⃣   Invest in developing your PEOPLE SKILLS. Mass emailing, sending links without having a conversation, connecting with people and selling to them your business without qualifying them, all this is called SPAM! ?

8️⃣   Network Marketing is not a get rich quick model. You need LONG TERM VISION to stay the course and build success. On average it can take up to 5 years to replace your full time income sometimes longer… So ask yourself;

Am’ I ready to do the Work and Get the Results? 

 

9️⃣   Do not compare yourself to others. There is always a Story Behind the success. Develop the skills and do the work. Create your own success story, share with others, Inspire them and you can be sure to serve a percentage of those. And you too will be served. 

 

1️⃣0️⃣   Master the mundane. It’s the little, sometimes boring activities done consistently, repeatedly overtime that will produce success. Keep going UNTIL….

? The journey is what YOU make it. Say it’s Hard and it will be true for you. I say its fun and easy for me to work online and  Ditto.

All I can say is that it is so WORTH IT.

Don’t despise your humble beginnings, we all start somewhere. Learn from that, grow and share your story all the way to the bank!

New Business Success Tips – Last Words

? Building a Network Marketing or Any business for that matter takes work. Lots of It. It doesn’t have to be HARD. I dont Remember it being hard, sweat inducing, gritty work as such. Just repetitive, sometimes boring, and also disheartening from the No’s to the amateur I then was!!! That’s what I was and many of you are!

So STOP saying its HARD WORK for that become’s true for YOU! And Start DOING THE WORK for thats what creates results!

? Creating success requires you to develop your mindset, communication and Marketing skills. DAILY This is where your Professional development should be Focused! 

? DO THE WORK, DAILY GROW Your Network, Do not compare yourself to anyone else, thats an insult to your Highest Self. Go build your own Success and Story, with you being: 
Patient, 
Persistent, 
Focused and 
Consistent in your Mindset and Actions …DON’T GIVE UP. You can change vehicles but stay the course to your Dream.

The results will come and we can all celebrate you and learn from you too!

I hope this can help encourage someone today who’s thinking of quitting or feeling discouraged by the slow or even lack of results.
