So, today, we’ll show the on-page SEO hacks. Tips on how to write in a way that Google will pick up your content fast.
I am sure you understand that 50% chances hitting Google page 1 is in regards to what they call on-page SEO. Meaning?
You need to write your posts in a way that Google understands what you’re talking about, that way the G-bots will pick it up when someone is searching for the keywords you use.
You might also know about the importance of whom you hang out with aka backlinks. Simply put, this is other websites linking to yours.
So let’s, get down to how I am able to get some f our Pillar content to rank on search.
FIRST, you must determine what you want to talk about. What problem/challenge needs solving by people? Let’s assume you want to write about Amazon Selling on Pinterest, or better still let’s stick to how to write SEO friendly blog posts.
You will start by figuring out what is the best keyword short or long tailed keyword to use.
The keyword that I came up with was how to write SEO friendly blog posts in 2021…
SECONDLY, when you write an article, you must add at least one target keyword.
So throughout this episode, I’m, going to continue to keep mentioning how to write SEO optimized blog posts. This is because I’m trying to tell search engines like Google what this article is about.
And they can only know this if I continue to tell them – and also give them some other clues. Let’s get started…
As with every Kalungi Group episode, we always share at Zero Cost to you a resource that you can access today and implement immediately.
This week I put together for you my Foolproof Business Online Launchpad.

How to Write an SEO friendly blog post for beginners.
Let’s look at our headline. That is congruent with what I said earlier about several clues, right?
1. The very title of this post is my targeted keyword, how to write SEO friendly blog posts in 2021.
2. I also used it as my perma-link or slug for the post. It’s very important to use your targeted keywords in these two places at the very least.
Now if you use the Yoast SEO plugin it also gives you a clue how you are doing with this as the image below shows. Clearly, there is work to do on readability and SEO itself.
Readability speaks to User experience and the SEO is purely all about ranking in search.
One thing I have learned from experience is: when you write your Headline – H1 title and permalink, avoid adding numbers. For instance,
“7 Tips to whiter Teeth for Smokers.”
Instead, write
“Power Tips to Whiter teeth for smokers“, then add the number “7” to your H2, H3 and Image alt tags.
Why?
Simple, because, if you ever choose to refresh, update, and expand those tips to say; 21 tips, you are stuck with the 7 you added to the permalink and headline!
People don’t look for “3 tips to making money online” NO.
They simply search for tips on making money online. Make sense?
After I was done with tweaking, I improved the readability to OK. In my view, that’s good enough. Otherwise, you could spend valuable time trying to create perfection. You want to rank on earth, not paradise lolol.
3. And the 3rd place to add my Keyword is my image name and alt tag, I did mention that didn’t I? Before we even get to the images, the other place you add that sweet long-tailed keyword… By the way, it better be log tailed or you will be hard placed to rank in search against SEO powerhouses.
4. So the 4th place is in the 1st paragraph of your post. Yo Absolutely must add that keyword there AND in bold too.
So if you go back to the top you will notice I added the keyphrase; how to write SEO friendly posts in 2021 in the first paragraph right under the H2 headline.
Just as I reiterate that phrase throughout this post so they’ll know. And I also sprinkle variations of the phrase like how to write SEO friendly articles for the blog.
Now I also can add the variations in the Tags section on the right. I add a maximum of 10 Tags. Definitely mo more than 15 ever.
How to Write an SEO friendly Article for a blog.
Okay, you may be wondering; How do you find them keywords Julie Syl? And the answer is simple. I do a Google search and scroll to the bottom of the page and copy every single phrase I find there.
Then I go check with a tool called Keywords everywhere a chrome extension for “monthly search volume” on these words. This tool/extension costs as little as $10 for 100,000 credits. 1credit = 1 keyword and they expire after a year so use them.
I then use my secret sauce Question Samurai – to see if the volume is the same. And I am off to the races with a maximum of 10 keyphrases I will use as headlines, tags, and breadcrumbs sprinkled inside the article. This is no longer on sale sorry!
The above 2 are paid products, so you decide how much your Blog/content is worth to you and your business.
Otherwise, you can use the completely free Google Keyword Planner to do your keyword research. It is extremely essential to the success of your articles/posts and website traffic in general.
I definitely recommend the above 3 tools because they’re so valuable to your website traffic. When you rank for the right keywords, you get targeted traffic. You can then apply to platforms like Medium to be able to advertise and make some decent $$ far better than Google Adsense.
This is how I have been able to rank for some sweet words that keep delivering traffic our way from both Google and Pinterest.
I am going to show you that when you do the right keyword research your content ranks on Google and YouTube too. You do know YouTube is Google’s baby brother right?
That’s how I’m, ranking number 5 right here below on a Video and piece of content on; How to sell amazon products with Pinterest.
And in this below piece of content and video, we are raking on Page 1, and driving a ton of inquiries about our Social media management Services esp Pinterest account management.
So if someone wants to watch that video, even with a low volume of views, the description must be doing its job. The article is ranking on Google and Pinterest and delivering at least 5000 page views.
Now I’m at number #5 and #1 respectively right now, but I believe if I tweak the on-page SEO a wee bit, we could rise higher on the numero #5 article on all the platforms.
How to write SEO Optimized blog posts in WordPress – Tags & User experience.
Tags are your way to increase the number of keywords attached to your post without over sprinkling them inside the article itself.
Another way to tell search engines that this is what your content is about.
You want to include the words you copied from Google in the image I shared before as Tags. ONLY IF it makes sense and they are related to your content. Don’t lie about the keywords.
For instance, don’t add “Beyonce” as a tag in the hope that she/her fans will visit your website!
For this post, I have for instance added: “how to write SEO friendly blog posts document“. Because this article is created as a template and working document for you to download and enjoy offline.
So if someone uses the right keywords in the right way and volume including variations and tags you could rank sooner than later in search.
And if all this sounds like Greek to you, you might connect with our Local Inbound marketing service for some targeted SEO and increase the authority of your website.
It is an investment worth considering and making.
Let’s talk user experience – Readability is the main criteria here.
For someone to read a bit about your content, you want to break up your sentences so you don’t have a brick of text.
One to 3 sentences maximum to form a paragraph is what I recommend.
The easier your content is to read, the higher the chances of people not just skimming over it, but actually reading your post. And even taking Action.
Did you notice I also broke the sentences up with Images, demonstrating what I suggest? That would be great too for optimizing your content for user experience.
Another trick to reduce people going off your website or “Bouncing” due to maybe your affiliate links you may have added… And you also don’t want google to follow it, right!
So whenever you have an affiliate link, always make it a no-follow link. You can use a plugin or manually do this to the link.
Go to text view. find your Link for instance: https://rccace.com/affiliate. Then manually add “rel =no-follow” So here is how it will look below:
“https://rccace.com/affiliaterel =no-follow”
That reduces traffic leaving your website on paper.
So this is basically how I write my articles and I write them in a way that google will find me reiterating the keyword that I’m targeting in a non-offensive or repetitive way, yet enough to get the rank juice flowing.
I am adding the related keywords in my article. I’m, adding images in my article and I’ve checked out my competition by the way. I see how they wrote their pieces, so I d my best to add more meat and potatoes to my article to outrank them.
What you want to do and that will definitely help you rank on Google is by crafting Longer, more value, better content.
I believe that there are so many crappy articles out there. Google and other search engines are imploring people to write better content, but they can’t.
Bonus Seo Friendly blog posts Tip – Add a Video
As you know Google and YouTube are besties. And If you add a powerful and ranking video to your content, Google is likely to see it with more warmth. So create a short 5-25 min video or a full training to your blog posts. It will raise the ranking of your post.
Talking of videos, we are running a Christmas/ End year promo. This involves four $25 Amazon gift vouchers to four lucky people who Subscribe to our Youtube Channel. You could be one, so join the party, details below.
How to Write SEO friendly Blog Posts for Beginners Its a Wrap
Just to reiterate; your title, H tags, and keyword research tools are very important. And of course, you want to use an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO to help you track your on-page optimization in real-time. make sure that your worst-case scenario is “OK” for both readability and SEO.
Then add your keyword inside your Post Title and Meta Description. Then you are good to go.
So I hope every blogger is using and following these steps because this is what you want to have whenever you’re drafting an SEO optimized post.
When you are adding your title snippet, watch until the Yoast monitor goes green. And the same for the meta description. You can see the slug IS the keyword too as shown below.
And just so you know; the slug is also known as a permalink. This is something that you never want to change once you hit “Publish” or you lose any rank your post would have got.
Getting the green light and green happy emoji as above means I have done everything I can to make this Article As SEO friendly as I could.
The rest is down to Content Promotion which I talk about in detail in this article.
If you get a Red Angry emoji, it means there is a lot you need to fix, Yoast tells you exactly what it is. Check what it is and fix it.
Orage = Ok emoji and it means you are almost there. And, as I said for “readability” for me OK, is good enough.
I have green on most of all this stuff, so this is good. Not forgetting the alt tags in the images, you see images also rank and when clicked on they take the person to your website if you tagged them correctly.
More sweet traffic.
