Do you really think your Facebook friends care about your product, service or business opportunity?
The answer is; NO… they couldn’t care less! Sounds pretty harsh, right?
Well… in all honesty, it is true…and we very quickly learnt this truth way back when we got started in network marketing. And there after blogging. Yes, they also don’t care about your new baby online asset aka blog!
They are NOT WARM to your opportunity until you share with them, then they aren’t interested, until you show them that They Can and You care!
The thing is, it’s not you, nor is it about you…WHAT…??? 
You see, since the advent of the internet, people have a lot more choice! It IS a consumer’s market and has been for a while…YET in the same breath, anybody looking to make money has access to a MULTITUDE of opportunities they can tap into.
Here’s the thing though, if you wish to create success, you must remember…
- Nobody really cares about your business opportunity!
- Nobody wants to be sold to or feel like so!
Unsurprisingly, we see it a heck of a lot… people join this or that group, or start in some new opp…
And they get SO EXCITED about it, they tell everybody how: “we are going to make a fortune, come join me!” They also proceed to:
Spam it all over people’s news-feeds…
Message people with their link… via WhatsApp, facebook messenger, emails, text, you name it!
Some even use auto posting software to spam the heck out of multiple groups on Facebook, ending up in “Facebook Jail.”
Some of you were told to make a list of your 100…And call them or hold 3-way calls with your upline as your: how to promote your business fast!
Yet with this your 6th biz opp, you have definitely run out of grace of your 100…Are we right or does a dog love a bone?
And yet most people wonder why NOBODY joins their business…Because nobody cares. Seriously…
All people care about is:
- What’s in It for Me (WIIFM) and Can YOU help me?
- Will your product REALLY help me with my problem…Or…
- If I join you in your business opportunity/company will I be able to succeed?
In the real traditional business space, people don’t really have much choice…they are less creative and resourceful! Most of you genuinely do not know how to expose your business or share it with others. In the online world, here is how it usually goes down, at least it did in our case…
Your friend/family member approaches you about an opportunity. Can be a request for your opinion, to look into it (exactly how we were approached.) Or telling you outright to join. If the timing is right and you are open to or looking for a way to make money, you jump in too!
Often times for newbies, you don’t realise there are tens of thousands of opportunities online…
You don’t know what you don’t know you see…
But after a while of struggling with that opportunity, you start to look for options, and guess what? All of a sudden, you get hit by a ton of ground floor opps, no need to recruit opps, and countless training courses…on bow to grow your business today!
By now you know you are in a twist, your business is going nowhere fast! You are looking for answers! BUT now, you also have a layer of cynicism and doubt!
Finances are also usually tight! You have no clue who to believe anymore. The Struggle IS REAL!
This is the point when most in fact over 90% give up, they Quit on their dream.
The more resilient ones do THINK about quitting, but their HUNGER for success, their PAIN is way bigger than the challenges!

You absolutely MUST learn to lead with value…Over and over, consistently without attachment to the outcome!
But Julie, I am attached to the outcome, I want to make money!
We know my dear, the thing is you won’t make any money until you SERVE more people in large numbers! Neither did you invest to have a drip of customers who never make a repeat order, or quit I their first quarter!
So, you MUST Invest in new Skills, Marketing, and Resources to make your business Happen.
And here is what to do…
You MUST SHOW people that you have everything they need to help them succeed…without being salesy!
Things like…
- A Step-by-Step roadmap for them to follow and duplicate fast
- A System to help them automate their actions.
- Access to train to help them skill up and succeed plus Methods to learn and get results
- Full support and guidance via a Private mastermind (Usually a Facebook Group or even Private platform)
- An awesome team they can grow along side
- A Daily Method of Operation they can follow each day if they so choose!
- A Blueprint they can leverage to reverse engineer their income goals so they know exactly what to do
- Group Coaching online (updated regularly) and/or Weekly coaching calls
- Help with their prospecting via conference 3-Way Calls (although this is NOT A must)

What Exactly Are People Looking For that You Must Show?
People are looking for the SUPPORT & Quick WINS first and foremost! So, Listen up…
The ONLY reason people will join you in your opportunity or buy from your content marketing efforts incl. your blog, esp. if you want to sponsor thousands of people is because they think that you can help them get what they want…This must happen in the Pre-exposure aka prospecting call or conversations.
Let’s say that they have an income goal of £1000 per month…
And in their existing business/job, they are not getting any support or help…
They do not have a system, no upline support and they are nowhere near their goals…
If you can show them that your team trainings, your system and your support structure can help them achieve their income goals if they join your team…They will join you!
Because… while you might think people are married to their opportunity, they are actually not…At least the savvy entrepreneur know it’s NOT A JOB. You can leave anytime — Fact: you can change direction or vehicles any time!
Therefore, if you have something that can help others achieve their goals faster and realise their dreams faster…And You communicate this information with integrity…
They WILL be happy to join your opportunity because you have what they want/need to create success.
Remember: The reason most people join a Home Business or Network Online Marketing in the first place is because they think it will help them get what they want and or desire…They are looking for a solution to an existing or even unknown problem, or to fulfill a Desire!
And IF yours doesn’t work for them, they will likely join another with the support structure they need!

WORD TO THE WISE:
Integrity is KING. So, you must always put the shoe on the other foot. Never, ever purposely look to entice people away from their existing opportunity by rubbishing their systems and team members.
Even if they don’t seem to have the support. Instead Aim to Help them by pointing to how and where they can find help…Meet them at their point of need and they will never forget that. AND You will get your just rewards…it’s the Law of reciprocity!
Poaching, just isn’t right…on or offline! There is no integrity in that… and Karma is truly a Bitch…Remember that!
Simply position and present yourself in such a way that people who Need your, product/service and are struggling/not getting the right support can come to you for the solution…It’s the only way that will give you joy too!

Great post. It’s never about you. It’s about them. Do they see a benefit and can they make it work or will they be left behind. If we remember that, we can make prospecting and also rejection much easier.
You got it spot on Kenny, so many people allowing rejection to be the major factor in their prospecting decisions, or lack there of!

This is such an important lesson to learn. You have to be a person of service and give value to people. Help them solve their problems and/or make their lives easier. No one wants to be constantly sold to, there is simply too much of it out there and it is a constant stream bombarding people.
We live in a digital era Jessica and the moment we sign up for social medias and BLOGGING, we are signing up for bombardment coz we actually put out quite a lot and contribute to the noise. Question is Does your content STAND OUT from the noise or add to it?
