Do You Know: GRATITUDE is the Key To Your Business Success!

Lets take a walk you and I down memory lane, shall we?

Imagine this scenario: You wake up every day, full of anxiety, fury, frustration worry, stress for whatever the world has thrown at you for 2 strait years! You feel envious of others and jealous of those who seem to have it made. Anything and anyone who achieves or seems to have something you dont have, you literally are envious and secretly upset at, and the Universe, God, Source whatever you call that higher consciousness… So, you keep asking the Question WHY me or Why Not Me?  I can tell you that is a Dark hole, a prison and Gratitude is the key to FREE you from that self made jail!  

 

Did You Know it? Neither did I for the Longest time that Gratitude is the Key to Success, Abundance and Happiness! 

Let me tell you that person above was me 7 years ago… Ouch 🙁 

I was critical, secretly unappreciative, always finding fault, always complaining, never recognising every single blessing I have. You see, I never counted them, because I was too busy feeling sorry for myself for being out of work. Envying the good fortune of others and finding fault with anything that wasn’t right in my life.

Even my NVQ assessing work dried out….now what!  

Tell you what, throwing pity parties was my forte, focused on anything that I thought wasn’t right in my life.

And well, bless him, my husband was at fault then wasn’t he?

If there was nobody else to blame that is…

Something changed in me 7 years ago when I started to read more books, to tune in to inspirational videos and trainings and above all when I started in the Online Business space. 

Maybe the number Seven is significant in the Law of Attraction and Spiritual Growth…In fact it is…but thats a story for another day!

Today, I am more than humbled, that having listened to and continuing to align with gratitude and my life purpose, I see it more and more that Gratitude is the key to success.

 

The funny thing is, I only do what I know how to do, and with Facebook as a fantastic tool for communication, I show up more via Facebook Live videos and I have connected to thousands of people globally. One of those people is a young man called Rufus Progress. 

This young man is not only hungry for success, he is also a go giver. He is focused on impacting others and helping them on their road to Success.

Rufus definitely knows that gratitude is the key to abundance. He loves to communicate, he also shows up and engages with not just my social shares, but numerous others! Always encouraging with his positive bright energy and comments.

On November 30th I saw a notification on my phone that Rufus had tagged me in a post. I checked and saw the message below truly I am humbled! 

 

I will not disclose what triggered the above post. All I can say that not many show their gratitude publicly. Its called Paying it forward!

In fact most people take what you give and say thanks in the inbox, and forget to spread the love so others can receive too.

Thank you Rufus. It is not every day that one feels publicly truly appreciated. And in accepting such appreciation, your gratitude bank also increases and the blessings flow both sides. To manifest your dreams, you must be a person filled with gratitude and giving! 

How is that, you may wonder?

 

 

Why Gratitude is Key to your Growth

Let me tell you another story.

A few years ago, for about 4 months I supported a neighbour who was going through some truly hard time. I was going through a very difficult pregnancy, yet Paul and I would do her weekly grocery shop.

Every day I prayed for a better day for both of us and safe delivery. Everyday I was Thankful I was still alive and Pregnant. (It was a hard pregnancy, yet I would go through it all over again for the gift Paul and I got. You an read about it on our About page)

I would go and cook this neighbour meals, and sometimes pick her children from school. She was always vocally thankful, and said so often to our faces.

Yet when we were not there, behind our backs she said other not so nice stuff about us. ? We didn’t find her avarice out until 3 years later! 

One time she invited us to a meal and made a speech, among other things she went:

“I didn’t ask for these people’s  help and I know I am not indebted, BUT i am grateful…” 

That didn’t feel right, and we felt awkward too, in addition to the words we kept getting back…Anyway at the time I felt upset… Today I wouldn’t even give it a second thought. 

Well, long story short, we bought our home and moved to a new neighbourhood, as blessings flowed into our life…Despite the negative comments she made, we thrived! Gratitude, and Giving without expectation opens the universal doors of abundance…Your abundance is on the other side of Gratitude my friend! 

We learnt of her words, we didn’t let them bother us and we FORGAVE her. Today we are still “Friends.” 

 

Another scenario…How about someone does something good for you and when you thank them they say…

“Its nothing much…!” 

Wouldn’t you feel deflated? 

My suggestion is, dont let that be the sword that cuts you from the flow of goodness that comes from gratitude.

With grace, always be thankful for any help you receive. And when others Thank you, take it with grace too; so they too receive their blessing. This is a Law of attraction lesson as well.  It is all about Reciprocation and I wrote about business success using the Law of Attraction and Also the Law of Reciprocity a couple of years ago, Definitely read that article!

Don’t get me wrong, it is not the first time someone Has given me a social mention or shout out. 

Just today another friend I have only met on Facebook, yet our energy connected so much… He has done a few guest posts on here. 

The amazing Ryan Biddulph of the Blogging from Paradise fame also recently wrote about gratitude.

I know my name featured in there somewhere, and I believe it is all beautiful energy. And I AM grateful for the love and the growth, and change in me that attracts such awesomeness. 

At this time of year, I love to focus on GRATITUDE. So here we are. 

For you the business owner, marketer, entrepreneur, if you aren’t seeing the results you wish for, dream of or have been promised via a training, I say FOCUS on GRATITUDE. Give more than you expect in compensation and the results will flow. Let go of your EGO and Let God/Source provide a way! 

 

If all you see are the negatives, like I used to be a negative Nelly, I suggest you grow a sense of gratitude for the gift of life at the least!

Stop focusing on your unhappiness and see everything you should be happy for. You will find yourself healthier, attract more friends, carry less stress, grow into a much more approachable human and  grow as a person and business owner.

The results will follow, I promise!

Below are a few more ideas to help you grow your gratitude muscle:

Every blessed day say Thank You before you even Open your eyes and get out of bed. Just say Out loud: “Thank You.” By the way, buy a Joy Journal and every day before you go to sleep, write down 3-5 things you are grateful for. Then read the list when you wake in the morning. ? Every day make a point of doing something for someone else, without expectation of return or thanks!  Daily take a negative event or happening, and you will get some; find its positive opposite say it (write it down and thank Source). When you receive good work, or to your suppliers, send Hand written ‘Thank You’ notes. Focus on telling at least 1- 5 people daily how much you appreciate them – and mean it!

And now lets go forth and show gratitude. So, if you are a person with an attitude of gratitude and you are happy, take this opportunity to share this message with one other person who needs it.

By the way, Gratitude is a learned behavior, Adopt it and Practice it daily! Do your best to help someone else learn this important Fact of Life And Business Success.
