How to Create Images Inside Pinterest

 

 

Who else is as excited as I am about this?  Woohoo, seriously I was like a kid with a new toy… Since goats dont show excitement as such, lets stick to a child as opposed to a kid with a new toy shall we! 😉

So what got my excitement radar hitting 100 mph? It was super exciting that I can create Pin images inside of Pinterest. Yep inside your own account or App. Yeeehaaa…. 

Like if Canva were to have a problem, you wouldn’t have to be stuck with your phone app. Well not anymore.

Given n opportunity, would you rather create your images inside of the Pinterest App? Or have to purchase a separate resource to pin your images? personally I say lets go Pinterest. 

So enough of the word runs, let me show you…

 

And what else is new inside of Pinterest?

We all want more traffic right? Well you can get More Traffic with Pinterest Video. So are you uploading your videos to Pinterest? If so, how are you doing with that?

My insights are below: 

#1. It might be a Pinterest glitch or something. Because, very few Pinners are actually clicking through from a Pinterest Video to your Desired destination e.g. blog post or YouTube video… Or is it intended?

Obviously if I were Pinterest powers I would want people to stay on the platform so…

Some of our videos have thousands of views on Pinterest yet very little to NO click through traffic to my blog.

I have noticed since I used to do the same that, most people watch the video and move on.

Now if you add text links in your video editing, they might go check it out by typing the link in a browser. Currently, most people just don’t.

The Solution: Make sure you Add LARGE TEXT Links or CTAs to your video. We have got a trickle of traffic like this. I suspect it will improve with time as this is a new functionality…Unlike “communities”. ?

So, take a snapshot of your video with your phone, like below image. Create a pin and link it to the video on your web page or blog. That will make the regular pin look like a video and when they click it takes them directly to the blog post with the video or the YouTube Video.  #YW ?

#2. Some people are reporting that they’re seeing 0 impressions on their accounts the last 4+ days in Pinterest Analytics… It could be just a reporting delay!

I cannot really give a solution to that because despite a sharp drop in Impressions, we still getting normal Pinterest traffic and check via Google Analytics. Check how to do that in our post on: Is Pinterest traffic dead.
