These are great tips on how to wake up productive and stay productive throughout the day without missing meals or personal time. I agree that waking up early and meal prepping are two of the best ways to wake up productive. With the meal prep, you know your cooking for the day is already cut in half and by waking up early you get more work hours out of the day. Extremely beneficial post! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Gill,
I love that you got the gist of this Wake up productive. And if more people implemented it, they would get more done and have a much less stressed lifestyle 🙂

We have to feature this one Julie, such good advice and motivation.

Blogger’s Pit Stop
Even though I don’t love it, I agree getting up early is crucial to starting the day off right. I have a couple of routines that work for me. I start out by expressing gratitude for the new day before I even get out of bed. Then I drink an 8-oz glass of water and diffuse peppermint oil in the air to help me perk up. I spend time writing while the house is still quiet and then move into meditation and gentle stretching. By that point, I’m more awake and feeling positive, ready to face the work day. I found your post on the Blogger’s Pit Stop. Enjoy your weekend!
I completely agree, when you wake up early you are most likely to have a productive day. You start fresh and get things done on time.
When it comes to me, waking up ealry does it for me because it ensures I get a lot done so early; good enough, I prepare my to-do list before going to bed.
I am a morning person thank goodness. Found you on Bloggers Pit Stop link party
Wakeups tend to give a view of how productive your day goes. I make it a habbot to study my wakeups and trend the days event. Sometimes we can be good and sometimes we cant. Productivity is such a good topic to treat and am glad you did just that here.
Your getting up early advice was something my mother’s friend told me too many years ago. She seemed to be a superwoman… full time businesswoman, mother, wife and always seemed to have everything organized. One day I asked her how she managed to get to everything and she said the most important thing was to sleep early and start her day an hour earlier than anyone else. She could start her evening meal, put on a load of laundry, get her outfit ready for work, get kids lunches ready etc.
I think there are so many ways to approach the day and being productive is important.
Of course there are Heather. to each their own, as long as one does their daily tasks and is HAPPY, content, fulfilled and peaceful doing them, all is goood! 🙂
I’m not a morning person so getting up before the sun isn’t an option for me. lol But as a night owl how I remain productive is planning out my days and working in small timed batches so I don’t feel overworked and chained to my desk.
Indeed everyone to their own Valerie.
I find that I dont have to stay up late coz I dont have to. So early to bed, rest the body, send my spirit to work me some answers and early to rise…Gets my bank singing for sure! 🙂

I need to be more focused and organized. I find that when I am working from home, there is so much going on, and it can be hard to stay efficient.
I’m a morning person now but didn’t used to be. It took a lot of practice but it makes my days so much more productive.
What a great post. being productive can reduce stress and depression. This is so motivating post love this!
How I try to be a morning person!!!
But I do believe starting your day early leads to more productivity, have to work hard on that one!!
How I wish I was a morning person like you! Been struggling with sleep and the lack of it for years!
I want my day to be productive and don’t want every single time to be wasted without doing nothing. I don’t have routines but one thing for sure, I finished ever task in time 🙂
Wow No routine?
Of course you do have one, its in your head. So you have created HABITS and systems that support that routine of “Complete every task I set out to do”…
Good for you Preet! 🙂
I really struggle with early mornings and I need to start getting up earlier and trying to be more productive because I feel so much better when I do get up!
The only way to wake up earlier is to JUST DO IT> even if you went to bed at “birdie ocklock”…wake up at 5:45am and do what you would do all day, then get to bed by 10:30pm latest. And keep on doing it…Your body will adjust and start saying hallelujah to you. Productivity depends on HOW DISCIPLINED you are about sticking to you “Can Do List”. Good luck Jenn

Heya Smide,
Waking up early is amazing. I cant believe I avoided it for years. Put that down to Boarding sch. I wanted to get up as late as I could when I grew up 😉
I’ve been seeing increase in my migraines so I believe it has something to do with not sleeping and stress.
Heya Mickal
Have you consulted a specialist? And definitely Meditation early bed eating right and looking after the self do help. Hope you can find some solution soonest!
I try to wake up as early as possible to get work done. It helps when you have a head start in the morning.
I completely agree with this post. My strategy is sleeping well the night before and waking up early.
I work from home and I am always wasting time on things that do not matter then rushing around to get important things done. I really need to manage my time better.
We all start there as work at home humans Claire 🙂
….we think we got all day. Then we learn that we got 24 hours like everyone else…plus the extra of being the boss so we have to Get us into check and DO THE WORK 😉

The better sleep I get, the more productive I am when I wake up!
This is so motivating and I will be using some of these tips.
Great article. I need to work more on getting up and productive early.
And yes you can Melissa 🙂
I always wanted to wake up productively like do plenty of things and feel good at the end of the day because it feels so good. The tips are great and very insightful!
Heya Kenneth,

Julesyl

You are welcome Vidya 🙂
Stay inspired so others will too! Thanks for sharing and lets continue to grow together
I feel like I wake up so behind to start with, i’m going to use these tips to help reshape the way i get up!
Excellent video and tips! I too, found that my key is to wake up early and wake up with a plan. It is far too easy for me to waste away precious time scrolling aimlessly if I don’t have a plan in place before I open up my laptop.
Glad you got value Nicole. Indeed if we get to bed earlier we can allow our bodies to restore, repair and regroup, giving our inner power achance to also bring us answers t deeper qns and thus “Creativity, clarity, Focus and Productivity 😉
Julesyl
I completely agree that making the effort to wake up and get started early is a great strategy to get and remain in control. Driving events around you as much as possible to achieve the priorities you set for the day is so much better than effectively having those events drive you.
