Did you know that Pinterest does provides tools to help your marketing efforts? Well, head on to business.pinterest.com/en/tools. There you’ll find Pinterest tools:
Pinterest Search: Very essential for users to find what they are searching for without trawling through hoards of pins in boards!
Its also a great SEO tool as I did share in an earlier post on Pinterest SEO, what I mean is, you can find what Pinterest users might be looking for by entering in the search bar a keyword and you see what shows up!
Pinterest analytics: This also appears on the top left hand side of your home page. Pinterest provides basic metrics with this tool. For instance; average daily Pin impressions, average daily views on your pins, a breakdown of your audience according to their location, gender and language etc.
This information can be used to create more relevant content for your audience!
Rich Pin Validator: This tool allows you to create pins with extra or additional information pulled directly from related website content. When you pin an image or your product/offer, the Rich Pin Validator will automatically pull the pricing, where to buy and availability onto your pin.

PinPinterest is very useful as a filter and will help you unfollow those Pinterest users who haven’t followed you back. This is extremely important. Why Julie? I hear you ask…
The reason why it’s important to unfollow people who haven’t followed you back on Pinterest is simple.
You don’t want to look like a desperado… This will happen if you are following way more people than are following you back! This clearly shows you’re trying to increase your Pinterest followers…See?
AND, if you have a huge difference between your followers and following numbers, Pinterest will block you from following more people until that difference is reduced!
WHY?
Because it considers your activity spamming, IF your shares do not reflect the increase in Followers!
For instance: You are following 1800 people/boards but only have 100 followers… Red Flag alert! You will have noticed that you cannot follow more people… Go check, we’ll wait!
More Importantly; if people don’t follow you back, they won’t see your pins in their newsfeed…So what’s the point, go where you are Celebrated i.e. they rate you enough to follow you back. Kapische? Good

CREATING YOUR VISUALS PINTEREST TOOLS
Canva: You want to succeed on Pinterest? You better create shamazing, freakin awesome images and for me the best Pinterest tool for visuals is Canva. In fact, for me it’s one of my best Pinterest marketing tools.
For FREE I get to create all kinds of images for our business and clients using Canva. I don’t have to dick around with pixel sizes, canva has already optimized that for me so all I do is click on “Pinterest Graphic” and then either upload own image or choose one from their existing library. You too can even type a relevant keyword in the search box for a cool image you can “Photoshop.”
Choose what layout the image will be, Text and Font Sizes, Lines, Shapes etc. Add your brand and voila. I have me a professional, HD super Pin image or whatever I want the image for…!
Piktochart: Another useful Pinterest tool we use for creating infographics. These are the extra tall, sometimes Stacked images you see online! Extremely popular on Pinterest. In fact, infographics are among our most re-pinned images and content!
Pro Tip: Use more infographics for your Pin images and you will see exponential growth in Pinterest followers, engagement and traffic.
Now, Piktochart offers you over 600 different templates. Its very easy to use. No need for code as its “drag and drop”, “point and click” when creating your visuals. Plus, it has the cool ability of turning your data in easy to read charts and maps…
Pablo: Now this is our go-to tool for quick social media images including Pinterest on the go! If you don’t have much time and wish to create a quick image for a promo you could use this buffer app for decent optimized and branded images. For Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Having tried other tools like BoardBooster & Tailwind for months, getting 2 of my accounts suspended and still not getting the desired market for my Pinterest account, I decided to give it another shot with PinPinterest.com and it came up as the perfect thing I was looking for months. From zero, I now have more than 26k followers on my account.
It worked amazingly well for me. First of all, it was free and that too on cloud that meant I could use it anywhere and at any point of time without worrying to have the same PC. What made a difference was the sophisticated algorithm system which screened the content and the pins and pin only the relevant items on my boards & the freedom to add and manage all my accounts in just 1 PinPinterest account. I just set a schedule for one day of the week when I setup my preferences, and it works for the rest of the week as per my preferences.

Great resources. Automated tools are so helpful when it comes to social, but you also have to be careful because the platforms constantly change their algorithms which can make these tools obsolete.
