Having Followers
First, with the latest changes or updates on Pinterest, which you can read about here. Building your follower numbers seem to be something pinterest is encouraging! Before this, Pinterest was clear that it wasn’t about followers it was about Search.
So having more followers is important on Pinterest today. Why?
This could mean some people like your content already! It could be your profile, a pin, or board! You have to have a Pinterest account, Pin regularly and use Keyword-rich descriptions for this to happen daily.
You can create your account and Save/re-pin either via PC or Mobile! It’s easy to do and once set up, you can get your initial followers by inviting your existing social media fans/followers/friends to follow you on Pinterest too.
If you are quite enterprising, you will do a heck of a lot more. I share a detailed “How To;” in a full Complimentary Downloadable PDF right here!

Getting your content re-pinned:
This involves actively and intentionally taking certain actions consistently daily. Preferably automated to help you through the process. I don’t believe in carrying the donkey, neither should you.
However there is a crucial setting up time that you have to commit to for this process to run smoothly and attract the right audience to get your content re-pinned!
Talking about Automation, I love the cool little tool we use to generate automatic Pinterest Quotes or any Quotes to be honest! It can even curate images from your website and blogs. Its called Pinstamatic.com try it. I promise you are gonna love it.
For the lazy pinner, you now have a free way to create pinterest optimized images in a minute and pin them right on your site! Cool beans or what? 🙂
You’re setting up your new pinterest assets for your brand and blog growth, so making sure you have the tools necessary for success is key. And above all engaging and hanging out with like-minded individuals is absolutely essential!
Most people just set up a few pins, maybe when they publish a post and thus attract a few followers. This is because you are not Intentional in your actions! What it comes down to is, taking massive action AND relationship building. When choosing whether you will succeed in getting your content re-pinned, having a huge following isn’t always the reliable determining factor.

I need to find some great group boards I think to get my content out to more people. These are awesome tips on how to utilize Pinterest to your benefit.
Robin you should try PinGroupie.com and find Group Boards with Less than 500 contributors, but highly active. Many arent accepting contributors now due to the algorithm changes. Pinterest wants you to FOCUS on growing your audience, inviting new users and engaging with them. So focus on your own Boards and pinning other great content on them too!
