My 20 Minutes Pinterest Strategy for More Page Views

June 28, 2019 By Kalungi Group 74 Comments

Do you wish to Know My 20 Minutes Pinterest Strategy for More Page Views?

I am a busy mom, wife, auntie, friend and community member. Don’t let the working at home fool you. And if you are like me you want to save time to breath, laugh, shop or even binge watch Shark Tank.  (A woman’s gotta have a moment to stare at that box huh!)

Anyhow, in today’s episode I am going to share with you my 20 minutes Pinterest strategy that will save your sanity and business. And cherry on cake, you will see way more page views.

You do know that Traffic is King right? Well Targeted Traffic is the Queen mate.

My Strategy is so simple one wonders why very few people know about it?

Well, frankly speaking, most people like to “Work Hard” They even proudly tell their children and anyone within 2 feet of them that “Hard work pays”.  #WTH eishhhh

Fortunately for you, I no longer subscribe to that school of thought.

Hopefully you too find the absurdity in the “hard work pays” lie soon, but thats not today’s walk!

Yet, I know that if you are like I am, you are not one for quickies yes?

Keep your hair on, all I am saying is you too must be sick to the bones of promises of 2-minute hacks and 5 minutes to this, that-n-the other, right?

I feel your angst…

Thing is; usually it turns out the hack is all of 3 hours, or leads to a whole 15 video course…what!

Okay, here is some tough love:

If you aren’t willing to invest even 2 cents in YOU, who is worth all that “Hard work” you are so proud of then? Why do you keep thinking that investing in Your knowledge, in skills to help you scale your business is bad? What’s wrong with someone charging for the man hours it took to try, test out, learn a strategy or process and Get results for sharing it?

That’s what mainstream Education establishments do, and you are/were more than happy to get into debt to get that Certificate. Which by the way hasn’t served its purpose yet, or you wouldn’t be reading this post…

Thing is, you are SELLING something on your blog/website. So why not invest in your learning? Want buyers? Become one first! As within, so without! ?‍♀️

Okay, rant over.…

Now, allow me to re-assure you that what I am about to share with you is just that, a 20 minutes plan to get your content seen more, get more views on Pinterest. And I will give you a FREE resource as well, And suggest a more detailed “Fast Track” for the business owner/blogger who knows the value of saving time by investing in the self… We good? ?‍♀️?

Cool lets do this…

[socialpug_tweet tweet=”You do know that Traffic is King right? Well Targeted Traffic is the Queen mate.  #pintereststrategy #pinteresttraffic ” display_tweet=”You do know that Traffic is King right? Well Targeted Traffic is the Queen mate. “]

Obviously, you do know that Pinterest impressions mean squat if they don’t translate into page views and clicks!

In fact, I wrote all about it, after I kept getting clients both past and present asking me how they can monetize their massive “Impressions.”

I had to burst some bubbles…Sorry mate.

So, what do I do that takes only 20 minutes to more Pinterest views?

Before I get all geeky on you, allow me share with you our FREE download as is the Pinterest Traffic Domination 101 Workbook!Kalungi Group tradition.

Grab your Pinterest Domination plan that will have you getting more followers and page views as well. Download it here.

What I love about this resource is how simple it is to actually set up Pinterest Assets that drag in eye balls.

Also, I share the places I find commercial keywords that turn into clicks and sales, that nobody is talking about. You are gonna love it.

Word to the Wise: Please don’t buy into those quick buck fast results sales pitches. If they were that easy, everybody would be doing it and killing it.

So, understand that you got to put in the work, you have to do the TIME and if the shoe fits, put in some $$.

Are we together? Coolio ?

Now that we have that out the way here is the deal.

While I don’t have millions of impressions or page views per month.

  • I have over 400k impressions
  • Which translate into 11k Page visits
  • Daily Pinterest followers give or take 10+ some days I get way more.

Again, some may look down on these statistics, yet for the time I put in aka 20 mins, I know this is awesome.

So, lets get you some, too shall we?

WAIT; you must understand that I invested 90 days as our test period. Any less and you may not get what you are looking for. Cool? 😉

Then again let me ask you; what have you got planned in the next 90 days to help you get more page views on your content and offers?

Anything working a treat yet?

I thought not…Then do this, you have nothing to lose okay?

By the way we did lay out how you can Grow your Pinterest Followers in 90 days or less by 800%. You can read it here…We’ll wait! ?

[socialpug_tweet tweet=”You can Grow your Pinterest Followers in 90 days or less by 800%.” display_tweet=”You can Grow your Pinterest Followers in 90 days or less by 800%.”]

Step by Step Guide – What I did to increase Pinterest Views to our Sites in just 20 mins a day

If you are a busy papa or moma working all hours like 3 jobs and have to walk the dog, feed the cats and still breath, you won’t have an hour or 3 to schedule content on Pinterest.

By gosh I kinda found it hard to sit for hours scheduling content.

Mind you not forgetting having to:

  • Create at least 7 images per blog post via Canva.
  • Craft different descriptions for each of the 7 images, to avoid being repetitive. Pinterest frowns on that.
  • The hashtags I had to research so our content shows up on the smart feed higher…

Lots to get done, I had to find a more efficient way to do it if I was to run a business.

Of course, you could hire a Virtual Assistant to do the visuals and manual scheduling for you.  But again, I know, I was there and funds are tight so hiring anyone sounds like a whole far away dream! Lets do this

#1. Batch Schedule Your Content –  I highly recommend you test out this resource for free so you can get a feel of how much it frees you to breath.

I am talking about Tailwind.

I definitely find Tailwind such a time saver.

  • What I love most about it is the amazing statistics it gives
  • The Ease of scheduling out my Pins weeks in advance.
  • The Tailwind Tribes where I connect with like-minded bloggers and we help each other soar….
  • The optimized pinning of my content at optimum hours for my audience. I couldn’t possibly be alert at a time when my Canadian audience is awake.
  • I can schedule to multiple boards with a click of a button, without spamming.

But I jump the gun, let’s get your Pins out in 20 mins.

First off, be sure to create amazing images. Of course, you have heard this right? Well, do it then.

And for those in my Pinterest Masterclass, you guys get access to over 100 Royalty Free image providers online.

I never want to find myself in a kerfuffle with a copy righted image… So be careful my friend about those Google images.

#2. Make sure you schedule out 10-12 Pins of your most recent and some older yet still relevant content. This means you will have your site visited by those that click on your pins. Pin these to YOUR BOARDS

Then you can Pin another 5 to group boards.

The idea is to drive page views to your content. But don’t be a meanie so,

#3. Schedule out another 10 Pins from other people’s content you find inspires, educates, or is fun for your audience.

My strategy is I give back to my followers so I click on that tab in my Tailwind and go thru the feed.

Or I check out people I follow again to me its about reciprocity.

Again, I pin those pins to my relevant boards.

DO NOT Pin other people’s content to group boards…that’s just nuff.

You want to post your own content to groups or you skew your statistics.

[socialpug_tweet tweet=”You want to post your own content to groups or you skew your Pinterest statistics.  #Pinterestmarketing #PinterestViews ” display_tweet=”You want to post your own content to groups or you skew your Pinterest statistics.  “]

#4. Try to Over Schedule at least 5 pins per day.

This gives you room to breathe if you are busy, get an emergency or wish to have a Spa weekend!

Now, here is a problem I found when I was checking out my Following and Followers feeds. I noticed some were truly not in alignment with my brand.

Maybe I followed them in them days when I used to participate in “follow for follow” campaigns. (Don’t judge, we all start somewhere and make mistakes!)

Frankly speaking they are not a good idea. I did a podcast about it a while back.

Talking of podcasts, have you seen our new “Your Power Echoes Podcast” home? Go check it out at Podbean.

Anyhoo, those non-aligned people you follow, go unfollow them, keep to a max of 5-10 a day. You have a brand to protect.

Chances are, those people don’t give a shit what you post. All they wanted was a follow back. And chances are they unfollowed you ages ago.

The beauty is with the new Pinterest layout, when you click on “following” you see a pop up image as below

20 minutes Pinterest Strategy

Which actually allows you to edit and control whose pins you see! How cool is that?

Now when you go check out which pins to schedule that aren’t yours, you will see high quality pins and content for your followers too.

#5. If you do use Tailwind Go be a social animal in at least 2 Tribes…

As a basic Tailwind plan user, I only get to be in 10 Tribes. Guess what, I am in only 5. WHY?

So, I can maximize this strategy and of course my time. I use Tailwind to free my time, not get lost in tribes.

In the same way if I find a tribe is not as active or useful as I hoped it would be, I leave and go find one that serves my needs.

Tailwind tribes do help increase your Reach, and of course you will find you are hanging out with better pinners. And follow, be followed by active pinners too, without the need to follow back.

You can schedule out your Tribe pins in the schedule above. I only pin my own content to tribes. That’s why I am there. I share other people’s content to my relevant boards. That’s it.

My 20 minutes Pinterest Strategy – You got this

The above tasks should take you all of 20 mins per week. Unless you produce content daily. In which case you will need only 10 mins a day to schedule your new content out.

If you don’t have the budget to upgrade to a Tailwind plan, you can do the above manually. It should take you may be 30 minutes. And you are good to go.

So, let me ask you, are you using a strategy to build your Pinterest audience up to a targeted audience and views? If you just said NO, you may as well go home.  Unless you are an SEO wizard, or have a killer social media strategy.

Pinterest is your traffic bus.

Yes, you may be one of those people sold on Instagram, that’s okay, to each their own.

But in my view if you don’t build INFLUENCE on IG fast, you are frustrated by the daily yo-yoing of your followers.

Today you are like; yay I got 10 new followers! Tomorrow you are like where the heck did my 23 followers go? ?
